Cloudy, rainy, windy but mild temps. Another busy day (as usual). After breakfast, my first task was to mail our package to Germany. The line at the post office was not as bad as I expected. But the cost was. Hubby really injured his leg yesterday at PT. He spent most of the day on the recliner. Years ago, he completely snapped a tendon on the other thigh in two. Local docs wouldn’t touch it. The Annapolis surgeon who repaired it was excellent so we may end up back there since the indications are identical. Hopefully he can get in with his doc for a preliminary diagnosis. Brooklyn played basketball at noon. It is so much fun watching those long appendages at work on the court. We are proud of her sense of “team”. She could have dominated the game with her rebounds, steals and fast breaks but more often than not, she passed the ball to a team mate for the score. Her team won 16-4. I wrapped a few gifts and then it was time for 5 pm Mass. There’s a meatloaf in the oven for dinner and then back to wrapping. Thanks for dropping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend but stay safe. My heart aches for the folks who lost their lives, loved ones, places of employment or their homes in our country due to those terrible storms last night. “It takes three things to be a ‘special’ player: talent, character, and competitive fire.” - Kevin Eastman.
