Fishing Boats On Bournemouth Beach

Despite ominous skies and light drizzle we decided to walk off the hotel full English breakfast with a stroll into town to browse the Christmas Market stalls. It wasn't long before the rain set in in earnest and we had to retire to a pop up "Alpine" cafe for mulled wine and custard tarts.

We headed back to the hotel to dry off and after an hour or so the rain stopped so we decided to walk in the opposite direction along the prom towards Sandbanks. We hadn't got far before the rain started again but after 30 minutes or so it cleared and the sun came out, as the main blip shows

After a quick pit stop in a cafe for hot chocolate and a mince pie, we carried on back to the main pier where I took the extra of surfers in the setting sun.
