Florida Remnants

I forced myself to get up at 7 a.m., and...although it was only 28F...took a 10 mile run in shorts and a T-shirt. Cold. It took me 82 minutes...kinda slow for me.

Then...I went to the kitchen...preparing six nights of dinners for my wife and I. I like to stay on top of things. Baked chicken, lasagna, white chicken chili, and zucchini casserole.

Then...frustrated with my camera...I got out a magnifying glass and 2 small screwdrivers...and went to work. There's a lot of parts in there, but after 47 minutes of the small work...IT WORKS!! WOO-HOO!

My last job of the afternoon was to go into my den, and design the invitations for my daughters November wedding. I had never done any scrapbooking, but...trust me...they are gorgeous. 200 invites...ready to be mailed.

I hate to be lying...
even in a small way.
Gotta know the date...
IT'S APRIL FOOLS DAY!!

The bug that my grandson had caught up with me. When I went to bed last night...I was running a 100.6 temp. It's amazing to me how a 2 degree spike in temperature can make you feel so hot and crappy.

No run was taken, no dinners were made, no invites were prepared, and my camera was sent back to Canon. I'm lounging in my bed with my chihauhau...waiting for the baseball opener of our Detroit Tigers. Another sign of Spring.

I'm glad April Fools Day only comes once a year.

Speaking of shells...make sure to wish Shelley (naturelover) a happy birthday. It is tomorrow. I refuse to give out her age...but the second digit is a ZERO.
