It's Not Easy Being Short

We got off to a good start this morning. David and the tile guy arrived while we were doing Pilates. We finished our class while David sat in his truck in our driveway and the tile guy (Miguel) taped paper to the floor.

We went to Trail House to have a little break from the incessant beeping next door and got home to find David still in his truck, and Miguel painting the shower walls with bright pink waterproofing substance....about the same color of the coat of the little girl in the main picture trying to  see what was on top of the condiment table. I put a picture of the bathroom in extras.

Miguel finished that, turned on the fan...the pink waterproofing substance smelled slightly toxic, and left. David came in to say he was leaving too, and would call the tile boss to find out when they would be back...I thought I overheard the words 'looking for more tile'....I think it's going to be awhile before I get my bath....

I have ordered batting for my quilt but it hasn't arrived yet. A text tells me that my new phone 'is on it's way' but further follow-up left me none the wiser as to when it is likely to arrive. So spent another few hours culling photographs. I'm up to June, 2018.

Unlike our expert crew, some guys are cutting down the black trees next door in a most alarming fashion.  Without limbing it first, they felled the entire tree which came crashing to the ground, knocking down a ladder as it went. It appeared that they spent the rest of the day cutting up the tree and freeing the ladder. Fortunately there was nobody on the ladder when it fell. There are only about six more trees to go. I hope they leave their little dog home next time....

Tomorrow is another day....as long as it isn't a 'groundhog' day.
