Brr!

I always wonder how gulls keep their feet warm ….. some of the black-headed gulls can stand on ice for ages without moving as much as a feather.

Finding part of the pond in Queens Park covered with a layer of ice was quite a surprise as was having to clear my car of snow this morning.

The snow has now gone but I haven’t even stuck my nose out the door since I came home from church so I have no idea whether the temperature has climbed above 2° or not.
