The good news is, Neil was SO much better this morning and Valerie was able to go to her second chemotherapy session happy that he was safely at home while their son kept watch while he worked.

The acer in our new bed has changed to its autumn colours over the last weeks. It’s been fascinating to watch. We bought some heather earlier in the week and I must get those plants into the ground.

I did a run this morning and D played tennis, but otherwise, a quiet day. Hannah’s husband is chasing her medication and sadly she isn’t a lot better. She will save the perfume I gave her until her sense of smell has returned.
