Grasmere Dawn

Enjoyed another wonderful start to the day before breakfast, walking from Grasmere along the lake to Penny Rock Wood.  As the sun rose it lit up the summits on the far fell side, while mist and a mirror like lake lay below. I felt so honoured to be present in these conditions.

As ever, it wasn't easy to choose one, so I've used up a few more extras to give an impression of the conditions I experienced this morning.
