That Cherry Again
A misty murky start to the day. Mid morning I headed to the swimming pool for some exercise, the first swim for a couple of weeks. It was good to be back in the pool.
For the briefest of moments in the afternoon the sun broke through, illuminating the cherry tree in the front garden. It was the best light of the day so I took advantage of it.
I also realised that the Lightroom App on the iPhone had seen some recent changes and now includes a depth capture function in the camera. Early days but it allows you to create masks in the editing tool based on distance from the camera. It's not the most precise of tools as yet, but a bit more experimentation will see where it might be of use.
If you have one of the pro versions of the iPhone with the ultra wide lens, you may find you can't access it if you are using DNG format for files. Apparently the ultra wide never captured files in DNG format, but rather in JPG. The camera automatically switched between the file formats if you defaulted to using DNG for other lenses. Now it doesn't so if you want to access the UW lens you have to first switch to JPG.
