Old green shed

...in back of our neighbor's house. Not quite derelict, but no one uses it any more. 

Breezy and colder today. Had a good online meeting with a writer's group this morning and did some yard work in the afternoon. Finally planted a little red-twig dogwood tree I'd bought a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping it'll look nice in winter against the evergreen behind it. After a lunch break I went back outdoors and found the temperature falling fast. 

A surprisingly cozy evening with D. working on an assignment out on the sofa in the living room (with Felix) instead of holed up in his room. Unfortunately, an alarming screech from the basement revealed that the boiler has started to leak...fingers crossed it can be repaired soon.
