What a day..

Up in Ohio with son D, staying off-campus with him near the lake. It was a cold and windy day with some swirling snowflakes. We peeked at this little lighthouse long enough to take a couple photos. Arranged a doctor appointment for him tomorrow. Don't think it's all stress-related, though there certainly is that.

Horribly there's an "active shooter situation" at daughter I's campus back in Virginia. She's safe in her room, and campus is on lockdown. It's been going on for over two hours, and we've been on the phone with her for most of that time...not talking all the time, just staying connected. 

What a world this is.
