Happy

“I’m happy, Mama” my beautiful girl said to me tonight during our call.

She’d had her first rehearsal with the Symphony Orchestra and loved it.
She’d enjoyed bassoon group.
She’d been told how impressed her piano teacher was with her.
She’d had a fabulous bassoon lesson going over elements for next weeks technical assessment, her first at school.
She’d had fun during the above technical lesson.
She’d stood up for herself to a child who is being unkind.
She’d done a piece of prep that she was really proud of, and showed me.
She’d received brilliant feedback from her department head after playing her concert piece in Monday’s woodwind performance class.

She’d found a quiet place to be able to talk to mama tonight.
She’d managed to get there with a mug of Yorkshire tea in her hand.
