This....

is the pixie who scored a hat trick in her hockey match for the B team today. She had fun, annoyingly! Obviously, I am delighted she enjoyed herself. She was so pleased. And her lovely wee friend passed on a new-to-her hockey stick because she’s grown out of hers already.

She seemed quite bright on the phone tonight so I didn’t hang around super long in case she decided to get wobbly. They were going to have a house movie, but she said sometimes her and a friend or two go watch something on Disney instead because she doesn’t often like the choices (almost always marvel, apparently!)

She had a walk, loved her practice time and was generally pretty jolly. She was slightly sulky about the fact that I’ve suggested to the other parents that they have a dorm Christmas tree (instead of having one all for herself - but I realised there’s no way room for lots of them and I thought a shared one stood a chance of not being declared too much). but I’m definitely going to have to also take some decorates for her to put on her board that are “hers”. Not to mention the amazing Christmas bedding she’s got!
