Alium after rain

My aliums are just starting to emerge, and today it rained nearly all day, at about 5pm though the sun broke through and I noticed that the light on all the garden flowers was amazing and sparkly. I set up the macro in situ and placed a green card behind to give a uniform background (rather than my brick wall).

I'm really quite pleased with this shot.
