Evening tracery

Looked up from some outdoor chores to see this lovely clear sky at an earlier sunset (looks much better against the black background). I love having the extra fall-back hour. The trees in back are now nearly bare of leaves. Pulled the frosted tomato plants, peppers, vines, nasturtiums, and lots of weeds. Hoping to plant onions and garlic asap. 

As I took this, I was listening to the wild yips of a pack of coyotes off in the brush to the west.

We don't get our heating oil delivered til Tuesday, and it's been quite chilly at night since the heat pump doesn't cut it below 40 degrees.

Extra: bunny in the flourishing fennel.
