All quiet on King Street

Not much afoot in Leesburg on Monday nights! We walked through the streets around 8pm. Noticed various details: a small ballroom dance class convening in a studio on Market Street, the courthouse sycamore looking ghostly (extra), a waxing crescent moon, a neon sign at the Tally Ho advertising a 10,000 Maniacs concert next week (my college roommate was a fan...I know all the lyrics), the clear night sky full of stars, and a single cricket who was chirping by Mrs. Tree as we left our driveway and silent when we returned home.
