First and Last

Cloudy, breezy and chilly. Up very early to attend 7:00 am Mass after getting hubby settled in the school gym. He decided he was ready to be there with his brother Knights for the monthly breakfast. He said he could almost remember the moment yesterday when he started feeling better. Such good news. I grabbed a bite to eat after Mass, ran home and changed clothes. Got to Brooklyn’s last game of the regular season with 10 minutes to spare. Final score was 3-3 which I felt ok with since this team was our biggest competition. B made some great stops; the wind made it hard to control the ball. Glad I dressed warmly. I needed sauce mix for dinner so I bought a few items before picking up hubby after the breakfast. He worked on Knight’s financial business while I washed two loads of bed linens. (Thank you kitties for getting sick last night.) As I sat down for a nap, Mancil called to ask if I could take him to see his girlfriend. His parents dropped him off here and I let him drive to Maddie’s neighborhood. This was my first ride with him as the driver; he did fine. It was time to fold laundry when I got back. Hopefully now, I can take my nap uninterrupted. Dinner is made so the evening is mine. Hubby can now get around on a cane. Life is good. I surely hope you had a fun weekend.
