Check point Charlie......

Dry and sunny,but a chilly breeze.
Cattle fed then spent the morning taking straw bales out to various feed hecks for cows.
This afternoon there was a Hero-era car rally passing through. One of the time check points was at the road end so stood and watched for a while. Got chatting to the couple who were manning the check point. Seemingly the cars set out from Yorkshire on Thursday and are finishing in Edinburgh tonight. There were a few Mini Cooper's, Ford Escort RS 2000s, Volvo's, Porsche and Jaguar's and a very chilly looking couple in an open vintage 4.5 litre Bentley.
Bet no one will be rallying classic electric cars in 30 years time !
