Far away fireworks......

Another chaotic day.
Fed the cattle then had to meet with the drainage contractor to show him 2 or 3 burst drains needing fixed.
Left Kev and Ali to bring in some cows and calves ready to tag the calves while I headed into town to take junior for his driving theory test. Haven't been into Edinburgh for a while and I can honestly say that all the people for spaces rubbish on the roads are a total shambles. A toddler with a pack of crayons could have designed things better. And the roadworks for the tram extension didn't help.
Any way ,he passed,and we were back home by 2.30pm.
Left the cows and calves shut in here,will need to tag them another day,and headed next door to sort out cattle there before it got dark
Looking towards Edinburgh and Fife tonight it was like a war zone with all the fireworks.
The estate were having their bonfire night so sat with the family in the field behind the steading and watched their amazing fireworks display,best bit being I didn't need to pay !
