Fabulous Friends

Today begins a 5 day storm...lots of heavy rain, thunder and lightning. A morning which included coffee with Stef first thing, then sharing the tent/sleeping bag joy with another charity for people they know but we don't. Must be awful sleeping on the streets in weather like this. 
This evening we had dinner put with James and Rich. In 7 years we've had 1 child-free dinner together, tonight made it 2! An absolutely gorgeous evening with delicious food and brilliant company. They really are the best. 
Home to hear that the kids had been good for Mitch...and then late night heart to hearts over mint tea with me, Danny and Mitch. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Having a safe dry home.
2) Chirpy Nate post school - full of chat about baking in class! 
3) These wonderful friends, James and Rich.
