Two pictures today.

In extras is my painting set up in my comfy bed with the electric blanket on! And you can also see the beginnings of my painting, which is the sprayed water on top of which I used the old Pentel pen on. This dried overnight. And in the morning this is how I set it up. I have a coffee and a tea beside me.


And the main picture is the watercolour work using that unusual compact palette of colours which opens up. The larger white tree trunks were created by using wax resist before I applied anything to the paper, in this case I used a nightlight!

I used a postcard I received for inspiration.
