Three Little Pigs...
...and the Big Bad Wolf (There's a baby hiding in the wolf costume.)
This is my Halloween blip, backblipped on Monday
Tonight was much quietier than I anticipated. Becky was running late and didn't have time to bring the dogs over before people started getting to her house, so it was just the three of us. Piper never barks at people at the door. I'm glad all the cute little kids from the neighborhood came by early because we ran out of candy soon after dark. I had made 40 treat bags because we usually don't have too many kids, but hindsight tells me that I should have saved them for the actual children. A family of eight came to the door with one little girl about 5, four older teenagers and three adults. They all held out treat buckets and only the little one was even in costume. I gave them all treats. Then a big group of young teens came to the door in costume, so I gave them treats. Then the porch light went off, we lit the fire and watched two Stephen King movies.
I am grateful that it turned out to be a quiet evening and that it's easy to find virtually any movie we want to see on TV, some for a price, but ours were both free. :-)
