Silly Dragon

Here's another silly decoration for Silly Saturday.   My shot wasn't very well thought out (actually a drive by), and there was a trash can on the left side.  I cropped it out and the dragon lost part of his wing.  I hadn't even noticed that the other wing was drooping.  Not my best effort, but very silly.  Remembering Admirer today. x

We finished the last of the winterizing of the yard today.  Snow is in the forecast for Sunday night/Monday morning.  I'll be sitting outside waiting for Trick or Treaters and keeping warm with our little propane campfire.  Piper and her dad will be inside trying to keep Fang and Thor quiet.  Becky and Darrin will have a lot of people in and out of their house and they always have lots of kids, so this is the best plan.  I'm looking forward to bundling up and hanging out outside with all the little superheroes and goblins.  I might be a little less excited if it starts snowing. :-)

I am very grateful that Becky got home in time to find a wooden cutting board on the stove top and the burner on under it.  Smoke was coming from underneath.  It would have been a disaster if they had stayed out much longer!   They cleaned the kitchen today and one of them must have accidently turned it on.  A lesson learned and a reminder to all of us not to leave anything on the stove top!
