2021 Saturday — Soft Flannel Sky

For a Saturday, this place is quite serene, almost silent. The morning arrived soft. Sea and sky are singular.

We headed into Morro Bay this afternoon to mail letters to each of our two adult granddaughters. We arrived at the post office ahead of the 4:30 deadline so the letters are now on their way to Ashly and to Desiree.

Then we went to watch the waves for a few minutes near Morro Rock. When we left there we stopped at Rose’s Cantina for dinner. Mr. Fun order the halibut entree and I ordered the coconut crusted shrimp hors d'oeuvre for my meal. His entree included a Caesar salad that we shared. We exited the restaurant feeling plump and pleased.

This has been a lovely day.
