Magpie Inkcap

Another big tick for me!
I went for a lovely walk with my friend Paul to several local woodlands today to look for fungi, and funnily enough I was just saying to him I would love to see a Magpie Inkcap when I turned round and TaDa! there was one right beside us!
I was quite surprised how tall it was (see extra) and how it was growing alone as other Ink Caps tend to grow in clumps.
I is usually found on alkaline soil and is described as 'uncommon' in Britain and Ireland.
