The Dragonfly

We walked at Lochan Spling today, and my photo is of The Dragonfly by Rob Mulholland.  It was erected in 2008, as part of a sculpture trail in the area.  My extra shows one of the other sculptures in the lochan.

We had a lovely day.  It looked like rain as we started and did in fact turn to rain near the end of the walk, but somehow it didn't take any any of the enjoyment of the beautiful autumn colours and the stunning reflections on the loch.  Others seemed to feel it too as there were quite a few people doing the circle of the loch along with us..... but plenty of room for all, cyclists and walkers alike.

We called into the garden centre on the way home to get some springtime bulbs, and had a coffee and scone while we were there.  Home to our Saturday steak dinner, always good.

And looking forward to 'Strictly' now......
