Diaries of a hungry woman

If Grace and I meet for lunch, it’s almost always at the House of Yum. And we will almost always get the Monkfish Panang because it is quite simply one of the best plates of food I think you can get in Shrewsbury. Grace is already on half term this week so I joined her on my lunch break for some food.

I told myself that I would try something new today and did, in fact, stare at the menu for a good five minutes. But it had to be the Monkfish Panang.

One of our favourite teachers today told us that she’d be spending her break painting a gnome as a gift for her husband for their 18th anniversary (porcelain). They have made each other gifts from the advised material for 18 years which, in my mind, is an awful lot of creativity. I made the mistake of asking what you make as a gift for a man when the material is lace.
