I hear ya, kid

A big chunk of my working time at the moment is working on funding bids and part of this is collecting feedback from the staff and students who access our work. I’ve been reflecting on the honestly of the comment given at one of our lunch time drop-in clubs. It takes big slice of bravery to admit that life isn’t always easy. We know and love this kid and try our best to be a solid presence in her life, and I just hope that we can communicate that in a way that makes funders get it.

In other news, we are going to see Adam Kay (This Is Going To Hurt) tonight at the theatre, a night that was booked way before Covid and has been rebooked several times since. It starts at 8.30pm. Which kind of monster starts a show at 8.30PM? This is not London, Adam.
