Sigyn (Day 2347)
It has been a bit of a frustrating day. A dark.and wet wander up the hill with Sigyn started the day.
I headed to town to make a start on re-fitting an en-suite shower room. Stripping out the basin and loo meant switching off the water, and finding out that the valves on the water tank needed to be replaced. I also realised that the mirror I am supposed to fit needs a power supply, which meant tracking down an electrician.
When I finally got the valves changed and the basin and loo out after capping off the supplies, everything air-locked. I spent a while sorting out the air-locks, then started measuring up for wet-wall fitting. It is going to be tricky. Neither the floor or ceiling are level, and the room is so small I am going to have to split the sheets down the middle then join them in the room.
It seems my beautiful wife has had a frustrating day too, and a message from her meant I left the job a bit early so I could get Sigyn out for a wander in the rain at Lyde.
Back home later on I spent a little while doing some more on the current carving project. It is nearly finished.
