A dream come true

Today we are the proud owners if an Esse Ironheart Stove.

It took two installation teams from 9am until 4.30pm to install plus insert an air vent.

It is a dream come true.

Errrrm now all we need is some wood. Small school boy error - to be fair we were not expecting it for a few more weeks.

Glamorous granny Aunty Claire called in with Alfie and Grace for a couple of hours which helped pass some of the time as I was getting quite stressed firstly because I suddenly panicked that the hob lids would not have enough room to open that's if the stove would fit in the fireplace in the first instance and secondly they were drilling through the external wall and tanking to install an air vent.

Well it all has gone incredibly well and I would highly recommend the installation crew they were fantastic. Apparently lifting 380 kilos down a staircase is quite a feat. Good job they had had their wheaty bangs.

After some jiggery pokery with the flu the lids now fully lift.

I am so excited proud and happy with our stove.

Aunty Claire came back after dropping the kids off (not a euphemism) to pick Martin up and ended staying for an impromptu dinner.

Oh did I mention I am so excited about our new stove. I can't wait to cook up a storm with husband this weekend.
