Autumnal

J had a regular hospital appointment today, but as she has been really out of sorts these last few days I took her there. I am not allowed in, so as it was a dry interlude during an otherwise wet and windy day I walked up to the old castle at the top of the hill. I took this autumnal shot on the way back down.

Returning I got a call from J to say that she was to be admitted to another hospital, and I could go into the room where she was currently being held, which I did. It was a very strange experience for both of us as the paramedics wheeled her out to the ambulance, and we gave each other virtual hugs before it drove off.

She is in the best place to be looked after. We can both look forward to her returning home.
