Jersey Coastal Path, day 2
After heavy rain in the night and an early morning coolish wind the sky cleared and we had another day of sunny warm weather. The minibus transported us back to Plémont (I forgot the accent yesterday) and walked along the rugged north coast to Greve de Lecq and to the Devil’s Hole, a natural crater in the cliff, for our picnic lunch. The blip looking back towards Plémont is our lunch view. Kestrels flew below and we kept a watch our for peregrine falcons and choughs, no luck today.
After lunch the path became more rocky and dramatic with around 950 feet of ascent and 1000 feet or so of descent. Stage two ended at the pretty harbour at Bonne Nuit Bay.
