On the boat

D and I drove the hour to Englewood to visit with my friends from Colorado, Sandy and Bill. They recently relocated to Florida as they were tired of the snow and cold. Bill said he has never sweated so much in 25 years! They are originally from here so they knew it would be hot!

After a fish and chips lunch Bill took us all out in his boat to Lemon Bay. We were able to pull the boat up on the shore of a big sand bar island and do some swimming and shell collecting.

A really good day of being with friends and enjoying the ocean! I hardly complained about the heat!
