Right over there

to the left of the road you can see some rain coming down at the bottom of the clouds.    That is about where my house is.    

 Jerry and I decided to go out for lunch at one of our favorite places that now has dine in.  Since the sun was shining and the radar showed no rain anywhere around, I hung out the sheets and pillow cases on the clothesline before we left.     The wind was blowing so I figured by the time we got back they might be just about dry!     And smell really fresh!

Nope,  they may have been dry but they were wet; not soaked though so I just threw them in the dryer.  So much for that fresh air smell on the sheets.

Today it warmed up and was very humid.  We had to turn the air conditioning back on and will probably be running it for the next several days as the temperatures climb back up.  I knew this would happen as it always does.   Hot weather here usually does not really leave until mid October or later.   Our fall color does not occur until November most of the time even though the mountain areas are usually by late October.  Depending on the cold, rain and clouds.   Same as always.
