Southend Squirrel

The weather has definitely turned more autumnal today - there is even rain! much needed!!

But it was a first for us as we went shopping in southend for the first time since March and it was so nice to be back! Went to M&S for a drink - all free as we had vouchers! - and then a much needed little book buying spree in Waterstones where I went in for one book and came out with 3! Even bought a couple of tops in the  Debenhams sale! Very easy to get back into the shopping mode isn't it!

And even the squirrels by the cliff paths were happy to see us return with a few peanuts for them! Not looking as fat as they used to!
