Despite myself I have gotten caught up in remembering the 9/11 attacks and all that followed on from them. An interesting Netflix documentary on the attacks and the way the aftermath emerged through political decision making. And the film 'Worth' which I vetoed on one of our innumerable what-shall-we-watch barnies and then watched by myself.

I spent a while in New York with The Boss  in 2006 and took a few photos. I found the financial district fascinating, particularly as the evening came. This is a fire tender that was at a commemoration of another New York disaster - the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire in 1911 when 123 women and girls and 23 men died.

The extra is of the one of the gateways to the World Trade Centre site.

And another one just because I liked it.

That is what I call 'back blipping'!
