Possession
A rather less active day today due in part to the "consequences" of a large, delicious Sri Lankan meal last night (me) and to sore feet (not me.) Still, we visited the Tate Britain for the Paula Rego exhibition which was magnificent. This shot shows just one of the rooms, featuring seven large pastels entitled Possession I-VII, all showing Rego's model Lila Nunes, inspired by 19th Century photographs of women diagnosed with "hysteria" - whatever that may have meant.
We left there to visit Hampstead, but didn't;t have the energy for a planned long walk on the Heath.
I don't enjoy travelling on the London Underground at the best of times but doing so when wearing a mask makes it even more of an endurance test. But needs must. Most people are still complying with the rules.
