The brave new world that is BAU kicked off today. So I tidied up the loose ends of the last 16 months and swept up as I closed it all off.*

The boss has arranged for a meeting to kick off proceedings at 10, so plenty of time to ease into the day. By 11 I've got 814 cases to look at..! Should keep me busy for a week or three.

At lunchtime I headed to Leith; cereal for Tom and fruit a plenty.

I finished at 4 and fetched Alex, a quick turnaround and out to Craigie in the scorching September sunshine.

I managed an hour of cycling/ photography before we rolled home for spaghetti bolognese and to try out the new Craigie kit (extra)
