Fruit Buns

Another dull, grey day. To cheer us up I baked a few fruit buns.
We did some gardening/ weeding this morning and  this afternoon had a meeting with the other stallholders to make final plans for our  Green Picnic  on Saturday. 

This  evening we participated in a lighthearted Zoom Quiz with members  of the Spectacle  Makers Society. The round in which each team did best required us to name the food or drink  being advertised in still photos from old TV adverts, with extra points for singing the jingles. The fact we all found the round so  easy, with massed voices singing, "....just  one Cornetto, give it to me..!" starkly  confirmed the  power of advertising! 
We could all recall" For  mash, get Smash!" yet no-one admitted to having eaten it for years and years.
