Mackerel Supper

It has been dull all day with barely a glimmer of sun, so not at all conducive to taking interesting photos. We went for a nine mile bike ride this morning, and  including yesterday's 21 miler, we  still had charge left in the batteries, so we know we can definitely cycle at least 30 miles on one battery charge.
The rest of the day has passed with doing some housework and prep for a Green Picnic we are involved  in next weekend.  We are manning  stalls concerned with gardening  for wildlife, mapping existing wildlife habitats  in local gardens, and a hands- on  pond dipping station.
Supper tonight was a simple but tasty affair of baked potatoes filled with smoked mackerel, spring onion and horseradish sauce, then grilled briefly.
