Supporting local businesses

I had coffee with a sewing friend this morning at a cafe in a near by village. She called by to collect me, so our chat started on the door step and didn’t stop until she dropped me off almost 3 hrs later. 

It was so good to catch up. She is an ‘almost retired’ nurse and has been working in GP practice throughout these difficult times. 

The cafe had lots of local crafts and things for sale and although I didn’t really need another vase, I couldn’t possibly not buy this one.
