Diary of an Edinburgher

Bath? I don’t need one…

Robert took Archie out this morning, and I cut the grass. I then had a ‘physiotherapy session’ over the phone. Yes! She told me to bend over and touch my toes. How far could I go? I could have said anything. Bend this way, bend that way, walk on tip toes… weird. And not really satisfactory. Then she sent me a few exercises to try for a month. Except that they’re all floor-based, and I find it hard to get down and up from the floor. I asked if she’d like to actually see me in person - no, that won’t be necessary at the moment. Is this what physiotherapists do now?

Hazel came over for a coffee when Robert came back. And I’ve found out that it’s a couple who have bought the flat above. So, not students then, though I can’t complain about the lads who were above us. But we’ll get ready for lots of building work, as they’re putting in central heating before they move in.

In the afternoon we went for a walk and to pick up the flowers we ordered yesterday.

Archie rolled in something not very nice, so he had to have a Big Bath.
