Japanese anemones

As it's on the doorstep (and so we're RHS members and entry is free) we'd booked a slot for RHS Bridgewater late afternoon (not arriving until after 4pm).  It was pretty overcast, so I went for the close up photo option in the walled gardens - though it was a challenge in the breeze.

After a short while J decided to retreat to the cafe for a brew and a cake, and I had a brisk walk around the lake and through the woods.

The umbellifer stars were taken walking back across the carpark!
