A Trip To The Seaside

We picked up Sophie & Uncle Chris this morning for a trip to the beach at Uphill which is a quiet, uncommercialised extension of Weston-super-Mare. The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed a paddle (the ware was icy but some hardy people were in swimming), ball games, making a sandcastle and a picnic lunch.

Chris bought Kate & Joel a segway experience at Bristol last Christmas which they had booked for late this afternoon so Sophie is having a sleepover with us so they can enjoy a meal out as well this evening.
