Getting Autumnal

The morning sun seems to be getting a little weaker and there were signs of Autumn in the hedgerows on Street Hill where we took a walk with Chris this afternoon. What blackberries there are seem pretty small and late ripening this year, another sign of the dry conditions.

We enjoyed a Bank Holiday swim this morning then picked some more apples.

While we were walking, Yeovil were drawing 0-0 away at league leaders Wealdstone. On the surface a decent result but, given that Wealdstone had a player sent off after 9 minutes and we missed a penalty, it’s another game we should have won rather than drawn.
