Well, I am and it's not where this pic is! (or it's B&W alter ego in extras, both are of Slioch).
Woke up to a drizzly day but went out for a short run before breakfast and once fed and watered it was time to finish packing and head for home.
The first bit was in the wrong direction as we went for some shopping and then along quiet roads  and reasonable weather (and warm) until south of Inverness when it started to get busier. South of Aviemore there was a continuous north-bound stream of traffic, though our way was quiet, and then torrential rain for several miles.
Mr Rat decided the weather was having a tantrum, when you thought it couldn't rain any harder it did - and then some more - then it would almost stop and then start up again, though with the outbursts reducing slightly each time. I'm glad I wasn't driving.
Now partly unpacked, emails caught up and Mum phoned.
Back to real life tomorrow
