Lunch with a view

We ran the other side of this mountain the other day.
The weather was better than expected but we hadn't the energy for a big hillwalk so we just looked at loads.
In the morning we went to Tollie Bay on Loch Maree for a paddle but it was quite short as the wind was coming down the loch making it very choppy and difficult to paddle. However we did go for a walk round the bay where there are remnants of Atlantic Rain Forest and had our lunch with this very shapely mountain (Beinn Airidh Charr) ahead of us.
Then a trip a bit further north to check out a couple of possible paddling sites and we ended up at Mellon Udrigle where it was quite sheltered. The one extra is of the magnificant view from the beach and the other of the view north from the kayak.
The pizza didn't materialise again (too busy!) but we had fresh seafood from our host so I concocted a meal with them and what we had left in the cupboard.
Last soak in the hot tub.
