Monday walk

Up to the estate again today.  A dullish day but with odd bursts of sunshine - good for reflections in the pond though.  Bought a coffee and went into the bird hide for a while, but no birds to be seen, just several squirrels and lots of brown rats which I’ve not seen in there before, although I’m sure they have been around. The cygnets and ducklings seem ravenous at the moment, but I’m currently out of duck and swan food.  Again, very quiet up in the estate and very few cars parked up - heard one driver say he would  “take a chance on not getting caught” and he didn’t pay for parking (it’s a pound!). I’m sure the fine will be much higher than the fee!  There were actually nearly all the free spaces vacant, but some don’t seem to want to walk a few extra yards. Oh well.
