Gowbarrow

I felt I’d overdone it a bit after yesterday. The weather was pretty grotty and my hips and knees were groaning so I didn’t seem to do anything much until about 4 other than a hair trim and a little bit of sorting. The rain eventually cleared and I took some bits and bobs to flusco and then decided to see some of the heather on Gowbarrow fell on my way back. By that time it was quiet on the Fell but it was lovely to see so many families enjoying the High Cascades.
The heather has got relegated because I loved all the droplets with the lake in the background.

Happy birthday, mum. Five years ... feels like another country...
