Honey harvesting

A last big push to get the honey extracted, using Julia’s rotary extractor.
Gill came to help and we got very sticky, but collected around 40 lbs.
The photo is honey from 1 frame which is exceptionally light, so I wonder if it is mostly Lime blossom. I have sent a sample to the CEH honey monitoring project so will eventually get the answer!
That’s probably all the honey for this year, it’s been quite successful and I think the bees will have broken even for once!
