Blipmeet at Hadrian's Wall/Sycamore Gap

We had a lovely outing today, meeting John & Deb Gravett for a walk along part of Hadrian's Wall from Houseteads to Steel Rigg. We first planned this about 2 years ago, but had to cancel owing to awful weather...and then Covid arrived - so it was lovely to go ahead and meet them again at last.

Of course I've "had" to blip Sycamore Gap, but in the extras is a more general view of part of the wall, along with a photo of John & Deb at The Sill cafe where we had a cuppa.

This did of course bring back memories of my hike along a good portion of the Wall back in April 2018 with a couple of other friends, which began by chance just after I'd been to one of John's workshops.
